It’s 3:53 am and I cannot sleep.  :(  So much for writing a blog post everyday!

Anyways,

I am excited to get my computer and my student loan check (in reverse order though.)

I guess that’s all I have to say….I need sleep?

Exercise and DDR

Wow.  DDR Universe 1 and 2 for the XBox 360 is/are awesome!  My legs are killing me and I feel that this could be my new workout fad.  I need to lose weight badly and hopefully this will be a fun and encouraging way to keep me exercising.  Scott and I played it for just a little while tonight and I’ve already made significant improvements in my scores! W00T!

I also have to say that Ebay is my new favorite way of selling things.  Scott traded a bunch of video games in at EB Games and received quite a bit of trade-in credit for them.  They do not take old Playstation games; however, the gentleman at EB told us we had some very valuable games and to go online to sell them.  The first game we looked up was going for over 50 dollars! AND IT IS 10 YEARS OLD!  So, I’m now addicted to watching our ebay account to see how many people have viewed our items and see if anyone has bid on them.  I think seven days is too long for an auction, but Scott says that it will give people time to find our items.  Whoever said “patience is a virtue” was an idiot!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to everyone out there.  Ours was quite uneventful.  We watched “That’s so Raven” on the Disney Channel (yeah, I know).  We then played DDR Universe for a few hours and went to bed.  I remember looking at the clock at 11:38 thinking, “Oh, it’s not that long, I’ll just stick it out.”  Then, my phone rang at 12:18.  I was drunk dialed by one of my friends, wishing me a happy new year.  I told her I was in bed and hung up.   I was concerned that I may have hurt her feelings, but if she was a drunk as I think she was, I’m pretty sure she won’t remember a thing!  So, I missed out on the ball dropping in Times Square, but I feel that it was a pretty restful start to the new year!

Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of my awesome new blog.  I have been up since 6:30 am and running around.  I am waiting to get our car back from the dealership where it is getting repaired (supposedly).  I left the car there about 8:10 am and they gave me a ride home so I didn’t have to sit in their waiting room.  It’s now apx. 2:15 and we haven’t heard anything yet.  I have to say that the dealership usually does a good job, but the very first time they repaired my car, they forgot to call me to tell me it was finished.  Of course, that was the time I decided to walk around Target, etc.  So I wasted about an extra 3 hours out on the town.  So….I am waiting until 3 to call them and see what the heck is up.  Urgh.

Blogging is an awesome way to release frustration.  It’s not quite as nice as napping, but it’s great to rant to the public about my issues. ;D

Hopefully tomorrow will go by quickly, as I work 8 hours and then have 5 days off!  It dawned on me that this would be the first time I’ve had more than 3 days off in a row in about 5 years.  I would say it is a well deserved break!
